The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former twice world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
