We open with inquiries from Conservative MP the panel's head, that chairs the group.

She commences by offering details to the unauthorized memo written by Michael Prescott and printed in a daily publication.

"I don't want the BBC leaning this way or that way, I just want it balanced, impartial and equitable," he states.

Upon being questioned if he thinks the BBC is structurally prejudiced, he responds: "No I don't. It is important to note, a great deal the British Broadcasting Corporation creates is exceptional - including documentary and non-factual programming."

But he adds: "There is real work that requires attention at the BBC."

Another ex-adviser British Broadcasting Corporation consultant interviewed by the group, Caroline Daniel, remarks she regards the British Broadcasting Corporation with great importance and that it operates a "persistent practice and lively discussion" regarding evolving and intricate subjects.

"Whether the BBC was ready to have a thorough discussion and argument and implement changes?" she reflects. "From my perspective, yes they were."
