Loyal supporters of the actress are urging that a man who breached a barricade and grabbed the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good debut be detained or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared footage reveals the Australian man shoving aside camera operators and charging at Grande while the cast made its way down a yellow carpet surrounded by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately pulled the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being removed of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "free after being arrested", though court documents indicated that he was scheduled to attend court on the following morning. It is not clear if he was faced legal action.

Record of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account features recordings of him interrupting other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the city last year.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," stated an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user remarked.

Followers Show Disapproval Over Grande's Past Trauma

Several supporters criticized Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had revealed dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the conclusion of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote one more response on Instagram.

Some supporters also questioned guards at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while others called for online networks to ban Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Event Details

In footage circulating online, Grande appeared startled when she was touched by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has remained silent on the situation, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

Numerous of attendees had congregated in a crowd of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific premiere in a Singapore mall, including several who had stood in line for as long as many hours before it began.

The motion picture, to be launched on 21 November, is the second of a dual adaptation of the acclaimed theatrical production Wicked, which focuses on the surprising relationship between two very different witches.

The production itself is a derivative of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was decked out in a champagne pink sequin dress at the gathering while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a elegant ensemble featuring roses.

They were joined by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the highest-grossing film of the previous year in the UK, and received ten Academy Award nods, securing several for best costume and artistic direction.
